I have wanted to try some embroidery projects for awhile. With all the other things I work on and the ideas constantly running through my head, it was difficult for me to fit in the room to learn the new skills I needed.

Finally a few weeks ago I got a lesson on how to use an embroidery machine. And man, I am in trouble. Ya’ll may have to stage an intervention. I am now an embroidering fiend.

There are a lot of exciting new projects under way that I’ll be telling you about over the next few weeks. Today I want to share some new jewelry that I will be selling in my Etsy shop.

These are free standing lace pieces. I machine embroider them on to a water soluble stabilizer, wash the stabilizer away, dry flat and then hand assemble the findings, chain, etc to make the complete piece.

The resulting jewelry is very pretty and elegant. I think they are wonderful and will be offering them pre-made or as a custom order.

Here’s a look at some that are currently available. Visit my Etsy shop or products page to purchase.
